Popular Greater Manchester beer and cider festival returns with ‘largest selection’ on offer
manchestereveningnews.co.ukOne of Greater Manchester’s most popular beer and cider festivals is returning next month and will feature what has been described as the ‘largest selection’ of drinks on offer at a beer festival in the region.
CAMRA’S Stockport Beer and Cider Festival will return to Stockport Guildhall from June 20 to 22 with more than 250 different beers, ciders and perries to sample from across Greater Manchester, the north west, the north east and Scotland.
This year’s event will feature more indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a live entertainment space featuring a line-up of local bands curated by The Stockport Music Story trail and record label Seven Miles Out. For the first time at the event, Stockport’s Runaway Brewery will also organise a small key-keg bar run. Throughout the festival, more than 170 cask beers will be available to try, including milds, bitters, India pale ales and stouts.
