Police 'increasingly concerned' for missing 12-year-old boy

Officers have issued an urgent appeal to find a missing schoolboy who was last seen in Tameside. Greater Manchester Police says Myren Fitzpatrick was last seen in Droylsden.

He was last seen at around 2.30pm today (July 21). The 12-year-old is described as white, 5ft tall and with blond hair which is cut short at the sides with a long fringe.

GMP says Myren was last seen wearing a charcoal grey Berghaus tracksuit and black-and-blue Air Max trainers. Myren was also seen carrying a black Hoodrich backpack, with red writing on and a white logo. Anyone who sees Myren or has information on his whereabouts is urged to come forward as soon as possible. A spokesperson for GMP Tameside added: "Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Myren and want to make sure he is safe and well.
