It follows recent headlines that a presenter at the broadcaster is facing an investigation after they allegedly paid a teen for sexually explicit images.According to sources, a top star has been accused of handing over £35,000 to the minor, reports the Mirror.
The mother of the alleged person - who was 17 at the time - has claimed the teen used the money to fund a crack cocaine addiction.Now, Jeremy Vine and Rylan Clark both took to their Twitter accounts to deny being the accused.
In response to the allegations, Piers Morgan has now spoken out, sharing his own thoughts on social media.The star wrote: "This is a huge scoop and a massive scandal that will rock Britain."In his post, the 58-year-old attached an image of The Sun newspaper's front page splash reporting the claims.
Piers currently hosts a show on TalkTV and has a column in The Sun.The well-known presenter is said to not be on air in the next few days according to the BBC, with the corporation understood to be looking into the claims."One time he had sent £5,000 in one lump.
