Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

David Beckham
David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English former professional footballer, the current president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.

Manchester United fans believe they have spotted a fresh clue that Alejandro Garnacho is set to be handed the No.7 squad number.

The iconic number has been worn by a long list of United legends such as George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo.

It has been left vacant since the latter's controversial departure from Old Trafford last November after his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.

Speculation has been rife as to who, if anyone, may be handed the honour of wearing the number next season, with the likes of Jadon Sancho, Antony and Marcus Rashford all thought to be worthy candidates.
