Penske Media Corporation said Thursday that it has hired Thomas Ferguson as its new Vice President of Product Licensing. In this role, he will lead the team and develop new licensing extensions and partnerships to expand consumer touchpoints across PMC‘s portfolio of brands that includes Deadline.
Ferguson joins a team that includes Laura Ongaro, Associate Vice President, Licensing & Brand Partnerships, PMC, and Noelle Hickey, Senior Manager, DTC Ecommerce Marketing, PMC.
He is based in Los Angeles and reports to PMC Chief Digital Officer Craig Perreault. “Thomas brings extensive experience to the branded consumer products and licensing team,” said Perreault. “I look forward to watching the growth and evolution of PMC’s licensed products under Thomas’ stewardship.
We are thrilled to have him on board.” Ferguson founded the brand development firm Backstory, consulting on the design, development and strategic licensing programs for brands, artists and experts.
