The late Paul O'Grady was one of the winners of one of the television industry's biggest prizes this evening. The comedian and TV presenter's show Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs was given the prize for best factual show at The TRIC Awards 2023.
O'Grady's love of dogs was famous across Britain and after his unexpected death in April this year, his fans brought out their four-legged friends in droves to pay their respects at his funeral.
His show won out in the factual category, beating The Martin Lewis Money Show, The Repair Shop and The Queen: 70 Glorious Years.
