Dumfries and Galloway dancers pass exams with flying colours

Members of the Kay Alexander Highland Dancers recently sat their SDTA exams in Castle Douglas, which they passed with flying colours.

The dancers sat examinations ranging from Dance Stars, for the youngest members, to Scottish Award 3 with pupils achieving commended plus, highly commended and honours passes.

The examiner for the day was Miss Shendl Russell from Ayr. All dancers, with help from their parents, worked extremely hard to present a high level of dancing and theory, justly deserving the positive feedback and high grades attained.
