Paisley college workers set to strike next week amid ongoing pay battle

College staff in Paisley are set to walk out on strike again this month in a dispute over pay and conditions. Unison, the trade union which represents a host of non-teaching staff in colleges across Scotland, announced on Friday that workers at 21 colleges – including West College in the town – will down tools on Thursday, February 29 after college bosses rejected the latest proposal put forward by the union.
