nme.comOscar Lang has surprised released his brand new album ‘[pieces]’, check it out below.The nine-track full-length project sees Lang return to his DIY roots, as he explains in an Instagram post: “This album is a collection of songs from the last few years all made within the four walls of my bedroom.
more bedroom music soon.”Speaking about the album in a statement (via Clash), Lang shared: “‘[pieces]’ is about returning to a place that I so dearly missed, when I used to drop songs like selfies and l didn’t need a song to be recorded in a studio to put it out.
I realised when becoming independent, after a few years of making studio records, that really that’s at the heart of who I am and what I enjoy doing as a musician and what made me fall in love with it.”A post shared by oscar lang (@oscar.lang)The LP follows 2023’s ‘Look Now’ and 2021’s ‘Chew The Scenery’.
