Tyson Fury is set to take to the ring for the first time in 2023 when he faces Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia on October 28.
The former UFC heavyweight champion has been touted for a fight against the self-styled Gypsy King ever since they were united in the ring following Fury's win against Dillian Whyte at Wembley last April.
They will now face each other officially in a professional bout, with three judges scoring what will be a full-blooded fight, rather than the exhibition which may have been on the cards.
Despite this, the ten round contest will not have Fury's WBC belt on the line. Fury retains the WBC heavyweight title, with the undefeated 35-year-old keeping his world champion status following his win against Derek Chisora last December.
