Lewis Capaldi
Lewis Capaldi (born 7 October 1996) is a Scottish singer-songwriter. He was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award at the 2019 Brit Awards. In March 2019, his single "Someone You Loved" topped the UK Singles Chart where it remained for seven weeks, and in October 2019 it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. On 17 May 2019 he released his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which remained at the top of the UK Albums Chart for six weeks.
Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Eilish began singing at a young age. She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter, actress, author and television personality. She rose to fame in 2002, after winning the first season of American Idol, which earned her a record deal with RCA Records. Clarkson's debut single, "A Moment Like This", topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and became the country's best-selling single of 2002. It was followed by the release of her debut studio album, Thankful (2003), which debuted atop the US Billboard 200. Trying to reinvent her image, Clarkson parted ways with Idol management and shifted to pop rock music for her second album, Breakaway (2004). After numerous top 40 radio number-one singles, such as "Since U Been Gone" and "Because of You", the album sold over 12 million copies worldwide and earned Clarkson two Grammy Awards.

Every Thursday, we here at Official Charts round up the biggest New Releases coming your way across music and home entertainment.

Singles-wise this week, Jesy Nelson makes her protracted return to the pop star realm. Shaking off the somewhat...mixed reception to her solo debut Boyz with Nicki Minaj, Jesy re-emerges with the slinky Bad Thing, which re-positions her as a very different type of artist, clearly taking much influence from the likes of Lana Del Rey and Billie Eilish.

Read more about Bad Thing in our exclusive First Listen preview here. Elsewhere, Kelly Clarkson (finally) decides to be a pop star again with the double A-side offering of Mine and Me, both taken from Clarko's forthcoming album Chemistry, her long-awaited divorce album.

Both singles come with production courtesy of Kelly's long-time collaborator Jesse Shatkin (Sia), and gives us an introduction to what will no doubt be an emotionally devastating body of work.
