Princess Margaret's four grandchildren often fade into the background when it comes to spotlight focused on the Royal Family, and, as a result, they lead largely normal lives and only appear for the occasional national event, such as royal weddings, thanksgiving services and funerals.

One of Princess Margaret’s grandsons, Charles Armstrong-Jones, Viscount Linley, is rarely featured in the headlines, despite being a great-nephew of the late Queen and second cousin of King Charles.

While very little is known about him, he remains the only one of Princess Margaret's grandchildren to have a title - and will gain a new one in the years to come.

David Armstrong-Jones married the Hon. Serena Stanhope in 1993 and they went on to have their son, Charles Patrick Inigo Armstrong-Jones, on July 1, 1999.
