Phil Foden is misssing from Manchester City's squad to face Ipswich in the Premier League for the first home game of the season.
Foden played the second half of the win at Chelsea last week as a replacement for Savinho, who has recovered from his own injury to feature against Ipswich.
But the newly-crowned PFA Player of the Year is absent from the first home squad of the new season. Rodri, who is yet to return to training this summer, is absent as expected, but Ilkay Gundogan is back for City after re-signing in a sensational deal this week. ALSO READ: Man City vs Ipswich Town live early team news, goal and score updates The official reason for Foden's absence is illness, easing fears of any further injury issue, with Gundogan replacing him on the bench.
Savinho is fit enough to play after picking up a knock at Stamford Bridge, as Pep Guardiola named the same line up that started at Chelsea in the opening game.
