Lisandro Martinez has provided a positive injury update after the Manchester United defender posted videos of him training on social media.
Martinez has been sidelined since suffering a broken metatarsal in the 2-2 Europa League quarter-final draw at home to Sevilla in February.
He underwent surgery shortly after with hope he would be ready in time for the new campaign. Erik ten Hag said at the end of May that he hoped to have the Argentinian back at Carrington imminently and available for the start of pre-season.
Now, Martinez has posted an important update on his Instagram story. The defender was videoed running and dribbling with the ball at his feet, which is the first time he's shown this online.
