Manchester United managed to do something they'd never done before in the Premier League era during their stunning win over Brentford.
Two goals from Scott McTominay settled the scores for United at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. He was the saviour after being summoned from the bench in the 87th minute.
McTominay struck twice in added time to snatch all three points for United after Mathias Jensen had opened the scoring. If sparking pandemonium in the stands was not enough for the Scotland international, he also helped United to a surprising first in the competition. That's despite the club almost making comebacks habitual in their glory years under legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson. Under the iconic Scot - who gifted United all 13 modern title wins before his retirement - the Premier League side often underlined their class and fighting spirit in the dying embers.
