West Ham United manager David Moyes insists Sir Bobby Charlton typified everything that Manchester United is known for, following his death.
Charlton's family announced on Saturday that the former United midfielder has passed away aged 86, surrounded by his family.
A legend around Old Trafford, he made 758 appearances for the Reds before taking on a director role for almost 40 years. He was in that role when United were tasked with replacing Sir Alex Ferguson, who put then-Everton manager Moyes forward for the role.
The Scot struggled to his predecessor's boots and lasted less than eight months, but admitted he will always have fond memories of Charlton.
