David Moyes has confirmed Manchester United have accepted a bid from West Ham United for Harry Maguire. MEN Sport reported earlier this week the Hammers had submitted an improved offer of around £30million for Maguire and United had accepted the offer in principle.
However, a deal has yet to be concluded. United want to sign a replacement if they sell Maguire with Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba admired by the club.
United initially valued Maguire at £50m but have accepted a compromise given their need to offload fringe members of the squad.
On the latest with Maguire, Moyes said: "We've had a bid accepted from Manchester United, but while he's not our player I'm not in a position to discuss him."
