A man with a brain tumour claims he was turned away from a Manchester bar after being told he was 'too drunk'. David Twentyman says he was actually displaying symptoms brought on by radiotherapy.
The 40-year-old from Old Trafford, was in Manchester city centre last Friday night (July 14) with four friends as they celebrated the birth of a friend's child.

David, who has been undergoing treatment for a year, says he has a visible limp caused by the brain tumour on the left side of his head, which has an effect on the right side of his body. At around 10pm, four of his friends 'walked straight in', before David claims he was stopped by a member of door staff and accused of being too drunk.
David, who is currently on chemotherapy after undergoing a recent round of radiotherapy, said he cannot drink alcohol because of the medication he's on. "I was lagging behind because of my leg," he said. "When I got to the door, they wouldn't let me in.
