The German powerhouse Bayern were alerted by such instability, as they supposedly saw the Dutchman as a potential successor for recently appointed England manager Thomas Tuchel, who had fallen out with his club's management. Sky Germany reported that a group of first-team players, including Kane, Manuel Neuer, Thomas Muller, Leroy Sane and Jamal Musiala, all supported the new England head coach, favouring the 51-year-old over Ten Hag.
