They sit 14th in the Premier League and have picked up just one point from a possible six in the Europa League. It's a start that has heaped the pressure on under-fire boss Ten Hag, who is still in charge at Old Trafford despite increasing scrutiny on his future.
Although United chiefs held a seven-hour board meeting in London last Tuesday, Ten Hag has kept his job and will lead United out against Brentford on Saturday.
If United's form doesn't improve, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos could consider a change of manager, but one of those under consideration has found himself a new position.
