Around 500 Killie fans got the chance to meet their heroes as the club hosted a special open training session ahead of their SPFL Premiership clash with Rangers.Fans of all ages popped along to Rugby Park to see the players get put through their paces by gaffer Derek McInnes and his coaching staff before being able to get autographs, photos and a wee chat with the team.The event was hailed as a huge success with a club spokesperson saying: “The supporters are the lifeblood of this club, the least we could do was bring them closer to our team.“It was a great turnout and the players and staff enjoyed meeting the amazing fans.“We hope to continue this for many years to come as it’s a great way for us to connect with the community.”There's more pics in Wednesday's Kilmarnock Standard.
