Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction

And, by day, there are several coffee and cake shops to choose from. It's such a popular village centre that people from all over Calderdale like to visit, and even the occasional shopper or bar-hopper from over the hill in Huddersfield.
On Tuesday this week, Caroline was visiting from Scammonden and was happy to sing West Vale's praises. "People from Greetland, Stainland, Elland, Sowood and Scammonden come to West Vale," she explained.
The village is "very up-and-coming" with a range of good bars and restaurants. Her own favourites are Vine, a bar serving cocktails and afternoon tea, and Viaduct, an independent pub serving food.
