Major road shut after car overturns during three-vehicle smash
manchestereveningnews.co.ukOne of the main roads in Stockport was blocked off after a car overturned. Emergency services raced to the scene on Bramhall Lane in Davenport shortly after 11:30am this morning (Thursday).
Three vehicles were said to be involved in the smash at the traffic light junction with Garners Lane. One car flipped over during the collision.
Police, paramedics and fire crews all attended with the roads shut off as they dealt with the aftermath. Thankfully no one was seriously injured. READ MORE: LIVE: Man arrested in murder investigation after body found in woodland - latest updates A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were called to reports of a road-traffic collision (RTC) involving three vehicles on Garners Lane around 11.40am this morning.
A GMP spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of an RTC on Bramhall Lane, close to the junction with Garners Lane near Davenport railway station.
