Love Island’s Jay Younger hospitalised as horrifying injury leaves his ‘pec needing reattachment’
ok.co.ukFormer Love Island star Jay Younger has been hospitalised after suffering a horrific injury during a training session, which resulted in a major rupture in his pec.The 29 year old, who appeared on the hit ITV2 dating show in 2022, took to Instagram on Sunday evening to share an update with fans along with a snap of himself recovering in a hospital bed.
Jay could be seen with a large dressing across his right armpit and an arm sling. He told fans he'd had to have his "pec reattached" after tearing it while working out, but said he'd soon be back in gym "after a bit of rehab".
Jay explained: "My pec has been reattached after I tore it during a training sesh. Jeezy peeps man :) I’ll be back at it after a bit of rehab".
He also shared a screenshot of his hospital referral form, which stated that he'd suffered a 'right pectoralis major rupture' but thankfully there had been 'no further significant finding'.
