Love Island’s Ella Thomas gives ‘long-distance’ update on Tyrique Hyde
ok.co.ukElla Thomas and Tyrique Hyde are still going strong since finding love on ITV2's Love Island this summer, and are making the 425 mile distance between them work.
Born and bred in Glasgow, Ella has been spending an increased amount of time down South since leaving the Mallorcan villa and garnering public recognition, meaning she has been able to spend time with Tyrique in Essex.
Sharing how they are making the long-distance work, Ella told OK!: "We have seen each other quite a lot actually. It is difficult but we need to make that time for each other, and we are. "He was here in Glasgow this week, which was nice too.
He was surprised that he really liked it here and I was like 'of course you like it, why wouldn't you?'." Upon leaving Love Island in August, Tyrique and Ella revealed that they would both be moving to London, with the latter uprooting her life across the border.
