Loose Women was pulled off air early today, with the ITV show running for just 30 minutes. The popular show began at 12.30pm as normal, but was cut short to make way for the lunchtime news before ITV switched to coverage of day one of the Derby Festival from Epsom at 1.30pm.
Anchor Kaye Adams revealed the news that the show would be shorter than usual as she kicked things off on Friday, 31 May. She was joined on the panel by Nadia Sawalha, Linda Robson and Brenda Edwards.
Earlier this week, the show descended into chaos as two panellists accidentally swore live on air, with Kaye forced to apologise to TV viewers.
Kaye, Denise Welch, Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards were on the panel on Wednesday, 29 May.The women discussed modern slang abbreviations to kick off the episode, with Kaye giving examples of modern terms largely used on social media, such as Platty Joobs to refer to the Platinum Jubilee. The panellists weren't impressed by the new words and began to share old slang, while arguing it was better and made more sense.
