Nineties heartthrob Kavana auditioned for The Voice UK in 2012 in a bid to resurrect his singing career. The I Can Make You Feel Good singer who was 35 years old when he auditioned graced TV screens on the singing competition show and performed a rendition of Don't Dream It's Over, originally recorded by Crowded House.
Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be for poor Kav, as none of the coaches - which at the time was Tom Jones, Will.i.am, Danny O' Donoghue and Jessie J - turned for the forgotten 90s star and he left during the blind auditions.
However, before his exit coach and The Script frontman Danny recognised him and realised they had met before. "I've not done this for a long time, so I think the nerves got the better of me." "He can really sing," Danny told the rest of the panel.
Looking back to the 90s, Kavana, real name Anthony Kavanagh, was working at McDonald's when he wowed Take That's manager with an impromptu demo tape performance, which led to his teenage dreams coming true.
