The Vic landlady portrayed by Kellie Bright was ready to give her marriage with Mick another go before he vanished. Mick's Christmas spirit took a hit when he found out his other half, Janine Butcher, had been scheming and lying behind his back in an attempt to get rid of Linda.
Since his disappearance, Janine was arrested for her villainous actions and Linda has gone into mourning, locking herself in her solitude.
However, in scenes due to air on BBC One, Alfie Moon (played by Shane Richie) tries to cheer her up.
