Lidl announces big change coming to all UK stores

Lidl has announced a major price shakeup for its stores following a trial in select locations. The budget retailer will switch from paper pricing tags to Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL) for all its stores across the country by the end of 2024.

Lidl claims the move will save over 206 tonnes of carbon annually while also significantly reducing ink-use. It previously launched a trial in September 2022 in 35 stores.
