Liam Gallagher Sets 30th Anniversary Celebration Tour for Oasis Debut Album ‘Definitely Maybe’
variety.comNaman Ramachandran Liam Gallagher has revealed a 2024 U.K. and Ireland tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first Oasis album “Definitely Maybe.” “I’m bouncing around the house to announce the ‘Definitely Maybe’ tour.
The most important album of the ‘90s bar none. I wouldn’t be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let’s celebrate together,” Gallagher posted on Instagram.
The studio album, the only one to feature all five original Oasis members including brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan and Tony McCarroll, released in 1994 and was a massive success, certifying platinum in the U.S.
and U.K. and selling 8.5 million copies worldwide. It featured the tracks “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star,” “Shakermaker,” “Live Forever,” “Up in the Sky,” “Columbia,” “Supersonic,” “Bring It On Down,” “Cigarettes & Alcohol,” “Digsy’s Dinner,” “Slide Away” and “Married with Children.” The Gallagher brothers parted acrimoniously in 2009.
