Lewis Capaldi has compared his parents to Simon Cowell after they faced backlash for being too "harsh" with him during his documentary.
The West Lothian born singer appeared on the Scott Mills show on BBC Radio 2 to discuss his brand new single Wish You Were Here and his Netflix show How I'm Feeling Now.
Lewis' older sister Danielle recently hit out at critics who branded her parents Mark and Carole 'harsh' in the documentary, and insisted they only want the best for their talented son.
During the doc, viewers are treated to an intimate and personal insight into Lewis' life while he focusses on creating his second album.
