A late-night restaurant, bar and music venue on Oxford Road has suddenly closed its doors. Canvas, which was billed as a 'next-generation' dining and entertainment venue when it opened in July 2022, was known for its live music, food and drink and community events.
The venue located on Oxford Road was part of the Circle Square neighbourhood and was brought to life by the team behind two of London's most established music venues - Oval Space and Pickle Factory.
It featured an underground club space for live gigs, a members' club and a late-night bar and restaurant. A sign in the window of the Oxford Road site said the venue is now closed and to contact a business advisory firm based in Manchester for more details.
The building is part of the Bruntwood SciTech portfolio. Try MEN Premium now for FREE... just click here to give it a go. Following disruption to the hospitality and music sectors during the Covid-19 pandemic, there had been much excitement around the launch of Canvas in 2022.
