Albion Rovers boss Sandy Clark has already started planning for next season’s assault on the Lowland League, and says the sale of Joe Bevan and Sean Fagan will help bring new stars to Cliftonhill.Bevan, 19, made the move to Burnley in January, and Fagan was bought by Lowland League champions-elect East Kilbride last week for an undisclosed fee.That move came in a busy week that also saw Canadian defender Ethan Brown join on loan from Kilmarnock, while goalkeeper Ross Connelly signed a contract extension until the end of next season.“It has been busy,” said Clark. “There have been a few changes over the last six or seven weeks, and that was instigated by Joe moving on and trying to improve our squad in the loan market, with people who aren’t getting enough game-time.“Sean was a difficult one.
