Lanarkshire supermarket worker marks 35 years with company with promotion

A Lanarkshire supermarket worker is marking 35 years with one company. Long serving Asda colleague, Gerry O’Reilly is celebrating 35 years of service – as well as his promotion to General Store Manager at Asda Newmains.

Having worked in various stores throughout the years, 53-year-old Gerry is well-known for being a ‘fountain of knowledge’ and always going out of his way to support his fellow colleagues and customers.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

I was so nervous but also excited to start something new.
