SNP MSP welcomes news nearly 30,000 baby boxes have been delivered across Lanarkshire

A Lanarkshire MSP has welcomed the news that 28,654 of Scotland’s baby boxes have been delivered across the area since the scheme’s inception - and the more than a quarter of million delivered across Scotland..The Scottish Government introduced the baby box initiative in 2017, entitling every newborn in Scotland to a box containing essential items intended to make sure that every child has the best possible start in life.In total, 250,560 boxes have now been distributed to parents across Scotland since the campaign began.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
