A sex offender could be jailed again after making lewd comments to two females.Ryan Hill, 30, will be sentenced at Hamilton Sheriff Court next month.He admitted uttering sexual remarks towards the women at a petrol station in Overtown Road, Newmains, on February 9, 2021.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

He failed to tell police officers within three days that he had changed address.The court heard on that occasion that a huge search for Hill was launched in July 2021.Police had been looking for him in connection with another matter.They were told he had fled to Blackpool after threats were made against him and family members.Officers teamed up with colleagues in Lancashire but there was no trace of Hill in the seaside resort.He was eventually found camping in a tent in a wood beside the A73, near Newmains.His lawyer told the court Hill and his family had faced “intense threats” and there was a “fear of violence”.This led to him leaving home and “looking at various addresses” before officers found him. *Don't miss the latest headlines from
