Staff at Kwik Fit in Lanarkshire put the spirit into Christmas with a charity drive among their team for toys and gifts.The workers, based at Kwik Fit's Eurocentral office, initially came up with the idea to pledge their support to Glasgow's Spirit of Christmas charity, delivering a van full of goodies for children from single parent families across Lanarkshire.And the charity was overwhelmed with the support the week before Christmas.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

"We managed to rope in the help of Iain McRae and we set about planning a charity drive among Kwik Fit staff across Scotland."We found Glasgow’s Spirit of Christmas; a charity who help organise donations for other charities and on their website there was many worthwhile causes including 'One Parent Families – Lanarkshire' who had 48 children. "We thought it would be amazing to pledge and fulfil all the needs of the charity for all those children….so we did!"The response was nothing short of amazing!

Parcels arrived from Amazon every day from staff all over the country. People just wanted to help, to donate what they could to others less fortunate,
