Ayrshire darts prodigy, 11, signs contract with Mission Darts

A rising sharpshooter from Ayrshire has taken his next step on the road to oche stardom by signing for darts manufacturer Mission Darts.Kyle Davidson, 11, of Kilwinning, burst onto the Scottish Youth Darts scene in 2022 securing numerous titles and reaching the Last 16 of the World Masters in the Netherlands.A product of Irvine-based North Ayrshire Darts Academy, Kyle is seen as one of the top prospects in the country and Mission Player Development Manager Darryl Fitton is delighted to have him on board.He said: “Kyle is only 11, but I believe he has great potential."Kyle saw a strong end to 2022, winning three JDC titles and making it all the way to the JDC National Championship Final in December."The final was played in front of a crowd of around 500 and a couple of 180s and a 117-checkout showed Kyle wasn’t phased in the slightest.

Kyle finished as runner up on the day."Delighted Kyle reckons the move can only help him improve on his darting journey.He said: “I’m so happy to sign for Mission.

I think I will learn a lot here and it’ll help me get even better.
