Popular YouTube group the Sidemen join KSI in a second round of apologies following a video posted on Sunday (April 2), where social media star KSI used a racial slur while playing a spelling game similar to Countdown.
The now removed video came under fire by fans after KSI said the slur ‘P***’ - a word particularly offensive to the South-Asian community.
The 29 year old rapper and co-founder of Prime hydration apologised for using the word on Monday (April 3) and announced he was taking a break from social media. Again, after videos of KSI visiting a local mosque were posted online on Wednesday (April 5), the internet personality who’s real name is Olajide “JJ” Olatunji, read from a pre-written statement on the Freddit Talks Fighting YouTube channel, expressing his “heartfelt regret.” In the video, he says: “I want you to know that I am genuinely ashamed and deeply sorry for any pain or suffering I have caused. “I will continue to educate myself on the rich history and culture of South Asia and the struggles faced by its people.
