"I went through a list of suitable donors and I have chosen sperm from a man who is mixed race from America and although I potentially have one egg that would be viable, I have chosen to have a donor egg too.” Katie, who has five children, has previously said she would be happy with "another two or three" and opened up about her failed attempts at having IVF.
Katie, who had to deny talk she and JJ had split, also opens up about how they met after she'd seen him on Channel 4's Married At First Sight and reveals she feared he wouldn't fancy him after they eventually met.
It is thought the arrangements she made with the donor in America pre-date her relationship with JJ, who she speaks of highly in the book.
