Kehlani is denying recent claims made against her and her parenting. The 29-year-old singer’s ex Javaughan Young-White reportedly said she was in a cult that controls her actions, including how to raise their daughter Adeya.
It was also revealed that Javaughan has filed for full custody of their daughter. Now, Kehlani is speaking out in response to the claims, while Javaughn has also spoken out in regards to an article published about what he said. I wanted to take the time to ensure that I responded to these accusations from a calm and considered space rather than a reactive one,” Kehlani wrote in a statement shared to her Instagram story. “I strongly deny any claims that I have put my child in harm’s way, or left my child alone with anyone deemed dangerous or unsafe.
I also do not align with any of the allegations made against my former religious community that have been stated in the media,” she continued. “I have always taken great care to ensure that my child remains protected and safe at all times.
