Kate Middleton, 41, along with other senior female royals, are reportedly rushing to finalise their fittings for their coronation outfits for the historic event on May 6.The Princess of Wales was said to have only been told this week what she should wear for the big day, which is less than a month away.
As this is one of the biggest royal events of the year, a source has stated that royal aides are determined to make sure everything is perfect for the big day.
And although they have been working around the clock, various issues have reportedly emerged. The decision of whether the royal women will wear tiaras into the church before the Queen Consort enters the Abbey has reportedly led to rows, with it also being suggested that they may not even wear a tiara at all.The source said: “Senior female royals were only informed of outfits this week prompting a rush to finalise fitting arrangements." At George VI's crowning in 1937 nearly all women who attended wore tiaras and his daughters, Princess Elizabeth, and Princess Margaret wore coronets, which are small crowns.
According to PEOPLE, a decision is yet to be made on the tiaras and conversations are ongoing. OK! Has reached out to royal representatives for comment.
