Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

Earlier today, on Good Morning Britain, Kate Garraway grilled MP Matt Hancock on his decision to enter the I'm A Celebrity jungle as she opened up about how the families impacted by the coronavirus pandemic felt about his choice.The MP joined Kate and show hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley on Tuesday, just days after Matt's eye-watering I'm A Celebrity fee was finally revealed.

The MP banked £320,000 for his appearance on the ITV show and was on GMB to address the matter, writes The Mirror.Kate responded to Hancock’s explanation for his wrongdoing, as she cares for husband Derek Draper, who was hospitalised for over a year after contracting the virus.Derek has been really ill since he was admitted to hospital in March 2020, and his journey was documented in two award-winning ITV documentaries.Kate said that when it was announced that Matt would be entering the Australian jungle, people 'immediately' contacted her.She said: “When you talk about the moment you fell in love and you were caught falling in love and whether it was guidelines or legal.“The problem is that because you were Health Secretary and because at that time I couldn’t visit Derek in hospital, he couldn’t see his kids, thousands of others couldn’t go and see the people they love because they were following the guidelines.“It was all very muddled for us out here in the world.”Derek's health still isn't great and in October, he returned to hospital after he contracted sepsis.Hancock nodded and Kate said that she feels that he doesn’t understand why there is such fury directed at him.She said: “You still don’t get why people are upset.
