Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981), occasionally known by his initials JT, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer.
Raised in Tennessee, he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.
Timberlake began to adopt a more mature image as an artist with the release of his debut solo album, the R&B-focused Justified (2002), which yielded the successful singles "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body", and earned his first two Grammy Awards.

Timberlake is expected to attend Friday’s hearing at the Sag Harbor Village Justice Court, a spokesperson for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office told NBC News. The “Sexy Back” singer was arrested in Sag Harbor in June and had refused to take a breathalyzer after blowing through a stop sign near the swanky American Hotel.
Timberlake had claimed he had just “one martini” with friends, but police said he failed a series of field sobriety tests and displayed multiple signs of intoxication.He allegedly showed signs of poor balance and an inability to follow instructions, according to the police report.
The former NSYNC star and his attorney, Edward Burke Jr., have repeatedly denied that he was drunk at the time of his arrest.Burke’s office did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
