He also directed and helped produce the film based on Colleen Hoover‘s popular book of the same name. Plus, he’s the one who secured the film rights, so this movie literally wouldn’t have been made without him.
Despite his pivotal role in the film, though, the Jane the Virgin alum has been snubbed by the cast, which includes him not appearing in any promo with them or even posing with them at the NYC premiere.
Most of ‘em, including Blake and the author, also unfollowed him on Instagram, too. It’s all VERY strange! Despite this, the actor only has kind words to say about the Gossip Girl alum.
