But for Loose Women panellist Judi, it's a step too far. "We had Hot Girl Summer and now I’ve heard the new slogan Rat Girl Summer, which just means being your authentic self.
I don’t think we need any of these labels," she said. "Why is Hot Girl Summer defined by society’s standards? For me, my Hot Girl Summer is about wearing the clothes that suit my body, being comfortable in myself, looking as fabulous as I can when I want to, meeting friends and having a good time. "It doesn’t mean I’m trying to fit into summer’s favourite bikini or killing myself in the gym.
