Josie Gibson has modestly responded after her donation to the family of James Kirby, an aid worker who was tragically killed in an Israeli airstrike, was publicly acknowledged.The 47-year-old was among seven individuals from World Central Kitchen that lost their lives during the devastating attack on April 1.
He was serving as part of a security team accompanying aid workers delivering over 100 tonnes of vital food supplies when IDF air strikes targeted their convoy.Each of the three vehicles within the convoy were struck by an Israeli airstrike while exiting a warehouse situated in Deir al-Balah, located south of Gaza City, reports the Mirror.Emerging beneath a snapshot of Josie and her son delighting in a visit to Lego Land, a social media user took advantage of the occasion to express gratitude towards Josie for contributing to the Just Giving page established for the Kirby family.
The intention behind the fundraiser was primarily to collect money to support the mother of the humanitarian aid worker, Jacqui Kirby.
The commenter remarked: "I think you donated to our just giving page for our lovely Kirbs."Presenting a heartfelt message, they further added, "If that was you I just want to say thank you.
