Jon Bon Jovi has paid tribute to his mother Carol Bongiovi who has died.The 83-year-old passed away yesterday (July 9) at the Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.

No cause of death has yet been given.“Our mother was a force to be reckoned with; her spirit and can-do attitude shaped this family.

She will be greatly missed,” Bon Jovi said in a statement via People magazine.The former Playboy bunny – who met her husband John Bongiovi Sr.
