Sinclair, 34, has been served papers in prison where she’s doing an eight-year stretch for attempted murder. She could end up facing a six-figure bill for compensation and legal fees.A source said: “Those who know Charmaine from before can see how it turned her life upside down.“Physically and mentally she’s still on the road to recovery.
She’s been incredibly strong and has good people around her.“But nothing can prepare you for someone trying to kill you in such brutal circumstances.” The pair fell out over the affections of Charmaine’s partner Caitlin Currie, 28, who had previously been in a relationship with mum-of-one Sinclair.
Sinclair sent messages to her victim, warning she was paying a thug £1000 to chop off her fingers and had also been accused her of vandalising her rival’s car.In February 2021, they argued in the street in Royston, Glasgow.
