Jermaine Jenas has spoken out after being sacked by the BBC following allegations of inappropriate behaviour, admitting he is 'ashamed' of his actions.

He said he sent 'inappropriate messages' to two colleagues on the One Show, but insisted he 'did nothing illegal' and said they were sent to 'two consenting adults'.
